Dr Melanie Rose is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery She is a member of the Alabama Vascular Society and numerous other societies She is the author of many scientific articles and book chapters and she continues to perform ongoing clinical research in vascular surgery Dr Rose is a UAB Medicine Vascular Surgeon and is a clinical assistant professor in the UAB Department of Surgery at the Marnix E Heersink School of Medicine
