Valley View Medical Center VVMC is modern having opened in 2005 and we keep growing to meet the growth rate of our service area and we offer a unique ground floor opportunity for physicians and staff professionals in many areas as we are bringing new treatment services to the TriState for the first time in 2008 we completed our 8 million Cath Lab and in 2010 we invested another 8 million constructing a 24000 SF Pediatrics Wing for the first time the families of our community will have specialty pediatrics services

VVMC is currently an approximately 140000 squarefoot acute care facility with 69 total beds in private rooms including medsurg beds rehabilitation a labor amp delivery unit and a an intensive care unit with the expectation to grow to 90 beds by 2011 There are 6 major operating rooms and 2 minor procedure rooms We provide 24hour emergency service and life flight helicopter service The medical staff consists of 70 physicians Please see Doctor Perspectives to see the list of our medical services

History

We are the TriState areas newest hospital but draw on decades of experience and over 100 years of heritage Valley View is a place where the latest technology meets compassion a hospital singularlyfocused on delivering a new level of patient care

The hospital serves the dynamic area surrounding Bullhead City Arizona Laughlin Nevada and Needles California It is conveniently located in Ft Mohave a Bullhead City suburb In fact the hospital is located several miles due east of the exact spot in the Colorado River where the three states come together

Valley View opened in November 2005 as a 102000squarefoot acutecare facility with two adjacent medical office buildings Growth in the area meant growth at the hospital and Valley Views main building is now 126000 square feet This stateoftheart hospital is currently licensed with 52 medicalsurgical beds 12 acute rehabilitation beds 12 intensive care beds and an eightbed labor delivery and postpartum unit and is the only all private bed hospital serving the Bullhead CityLaughlinNeedles area In addition to private rooms all admitted patients have individual restrooms including showers cable TV and free local newspapers and some rooms have recliner loungers for family members

The labordeliveryobstetrics unit has additional security and restricted access measures to ensure the safety of patients whether adults children or newborns

There is a 16bed emergency department open around the clock The surgery department has six major operating rooms and two endoscopy suites plus a modern hightech cardiac catheterization unit The diagnostic imaging department provides all digital modalities for outpatient and inpatient testing from digital mammograms and simple xrays to hightech PETCTs for cancer detection and nuclear medicine And Valley Views Picture Archival Communication PAC system provides your physicians with instant access storage retrieval and display of high quality digital images
