History
In 1883 the StPeters Episcopal Church parish vestry and the Montana Episcopal Diocese established St Peters Hospital

On December 15 1887 a permanent hospital was built It contained seven private rooms a chapel a reading room a tenpatient ward a room for contagious cases and an operating room
St Peters conducted a training school for nurses from 1909 to 1933

In 1968 the hospital occupied the present building at 2475 Broadway The building has undergone many internal and external changes over the years Two additions have been added one in 1982 and one in 1992 In 1995 the Cancer Treatment Center was built The Center offers Radiation Therapy and Medical Oncology

Today St Peters Hospital is a sole provider nonprofit licensed 99 bed facility In keeping with the hospital mission of providing a continuum of care services such as home health hospital and extended services are available

St Peters Hospital is known for comprehensive care and community service It is dedicated to the values of compassion and caring for all members of the community
