Peach County Hospital became Peach Regional Medical Center in 1997 placing an emphasis on the regional vision for healthcare provision to neighboring counties without a local hospital

Continuing efforts to meet the changing healthcare needs of the community required many renovations and changes over the past 53 years For example in the last five years Peach Regional Medical Center opened a Cardiac Rehab and Wellness program and added the capabilities to perform sleep and nerve conduction studies in Fort Valley Taking a proactive approach the hospital has been successful in recruiting physician specialists so our patients can receive the specialized care they need close to home

Changes occur in health care on a regular basis and to remain progressive you have to adapt to these changes Peach Regional Medical Center did just that by being designated as a Critical Assess Hospital in November 2000 Staff members are committed to providing personalized quality care close to home and continue to stay focused while meeting challenges and adapting to the changes

The Hospital Authority is charged with establishing policies and providing for services of the hospital Appointed by the Authority the Hospital AdministratorChief Executive Officer is the direct representative of the Hospital Authority and is responsible for the effective daytoday operations of the facility

Activities of the Medical Staff and Administration are reviewed at regular meetings of the Hospital Authority Their meetings with dates and times posted in area media outlets and on this website are open to the public Authority members serve without pay out of a sense of civic service to make hospital care available to the communities we serve through the effective and efficient provision of quality health care services
