Nicholas H Noyes Memorial Hospital has provided health care services to residents in Livingston Allegany Steuben and surrounding counties for over 100 years During this time Noyes has evolved from a small rural hospital to the diverse and comprehensive system it is today The system includes Noyes Hospital in Dansville Livingston Health Services in Geneseo Noyes Center for Kidney Disease and Dialysis Center in Geneseo the Foundation for Noyes Memorial Health System and Noyes Lab Draw Station in Lakeville All of the organizations fall under the parent of Livingston Health Care System

Over the past several years Noyes has continued to grow and enhance the services that we provide to our communities In 1998 the birthing center was renovated to offer familycentered labor delivery recovery and postpartum rooms LDRP The resulting Noyes Family Birthing Center is beautiful and second to none in the region

In 2006 Noyes opened the Saunders Surgical Center and Holroyd Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital The 95 million project improved the size of our operating suites to accommodate a variety of procedures and the technical equipment accompanying those procedures improved patient flow and confidentiality and provided adequate surgical time for the Hospital to utilize in recruiting new physicians The intensive care unit is family friendly and employs stateoftheart patient monitoring comfort and confidentiality

Always looking to the future Noyes has already started implementation of a dialysis center to be open by the end of 2007 Partnering with Livingston County the hospital will open the 12bed dialysis center at the site of the former Geneseo Skilled Nursing Facility

In June of 2008 Noyes Memorial Hospital in partnership with Livingston County opened the Noyes Kidney Disease and Dialysis Center a 12 station chronic dialysis center This service provides a great service for the patients in Livingston County and the surrounding region that used to travel for hours to receive the kidney dialysis

Comprehensive hospital services close to home include a stateoftheart imaging department 24hour emergency department inpatient and outpatient surgical services intensive care unit dedicated telemetry unit sleep disorders lab laboratory services cardiology services physical and occupational therapy and maternity services

In 2001 Noyes further improved health care convenience by offering Livingston Health Services Located in Geneseo the center provides topquality convenient outpatient services to patients from Livingston Monroe Ontario and Wyoming counties Services offered include sameday surgery physical and occupational therapy lab draw services mammography xray bone densitometry scans MRI and ultrasound The facility is also home to the Noyes After Hours Care Center offering nonemergent care during the evenings until 11 pm and from 19 pm on weekends

Noyes has remained committed to community outreach believing that close contact with our communities provides access to early diagnosis and prevention of diseases Through our Noyes First Steps program we provide access to financial and social resources to help pregnant women have the healthiest pregnancies possible The EARS Lifeline program promotes safe independent living at home as an emergency alert response service and the Community Health Education and Wellness Department provides early diagnosis of heart disease and diabetes through community health checks and clinics
