History

Our History
Nationwide Childrens Hospital has been caring for sick and injured children and adolescents for more than 117 years There has been a vast amount of change since the hospital was founded in 1892 In its first year 70 patients were treated by a sixmember staff and seven other employees Today Nationwide Childrens is the primary pediatric health care provider for 37 counties with more than 950 medical staff members and 6800 employees who provide expert care to children regardless of ability to pay Learn more about our history by clicking the links below
