Mount St Marys is a 175 bed community hospital in Lewiston New York We are located on the border of the United States and Canada to our east is the Tuscarora Nation to the south the City of Niagara Falls to the west the Niagara River and Canada and to the north the villages of Lewiston and Youngstown and Lake Ontario

History

A part of the Niagara Community for more than a century Mount St Marys Hospital and Health Center began as the quotLittle House on the Cornerquot in Niagara Falls in 1907 Founded by the Sisters of St Francis of Williamsville at the request of the Bishop of Buffalo the Hospital provided acute care services to all especially the poor In 1965 a new Hospital was opened on a 30 acre campus in Lewiston Today Mount St Marys under the sponsorship of Ascension Health continues in that same spirit
