History

The first Margaretville Hospital was established in 1931 in a twostory white farmhouse in the center of town The present facility was opened in 1969 thanks in part to a dedicated fundraising commitment from community residents who felt strongly that a new hospital would provide the best health protection for the surrounding rural area
