Mission Statement
Harms Memorial Hospital District Healthcare Foundation Incorporated cultivates and builds supportive sustaining relationships as an important part of increasing the financial and human resources made available to meet the needs and initiatives of Harms Memorial Hospital District The Foundation strives to foster a philanthropic environment where everyone in the community works together to promote quality healthcare

GOALS
Rural healthcare providers struggle to deliver a wide range of medical services Many find it difficult to generate sufficient revenue to cover the cost of doing business andor have difficulty recruiting and retaining doctors physician assistants and nurse practitioners who often prefer to practice in larger communities Consequently some providers are forced to limit the number of medical services they provide

The Foundations primary goal is to help the District overcome these kinds of challenges by supporting its ongoing efforts to bring stateoftheart equipment into its facilities and to deliver a wide range of local healthcare services Foundation officials work directly with District administrators to identify needs and then to find funding to meet those needs Many of those needs revolve around medical facility and equipment upgrades and communitybased health and wellness education

The Foundation works diligently to cultivate new funding opportunities and to responsibly manage and distribute the financial resources over which it has stewardship so that it effectively supports District endeavors to provide quality healthcare that meets or exceeds prevailing medical standards
