30year veteran of the hospital industry Jeff Holland currently serves as CEO of Bayshore Medical Center and East Houston Regional Medical Center Holland joined Bayshore Medical Center on May 1 2006 after serving nearly ten years as chief executive officer of West Houston Medical Center which was named first in the HCA Gulf Coast Division for employee satisfaction and consistently ranked in the top ten of the 200 hospitals operated by Hospital Corporation of America HCA On August 29 2008 Holland took over leadership of Bayshores sister facility East Houston Regional Medical Center after a strategic decision was made for the two facilities to merge

Holland holds a masters degree in hospital and health administration and a bachelor of arts in history and political science He has been honored as a fellow for the American College of Healthcare Executives since 1993 is the past chairman for the Metropolitan Hospital Council of New Orleans served on the board of MCVVCU Alumni Association from 1995 2003 taught as a visiting lecturer for the Louisiana State University Medical Center Foundation Office of Continuing Education served as a board member of the Houston Council on Alcohol and Drugs since 1998 served as a founding board member of Leadership West Houston from 2001 to 2004 and a board member of HOSPAC the political action committee of the Texas Hospital Association THA from 2004 to present He also serves on the board of directors of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Holland and his wife Vicki have a blended family of four grown children and reside in the Bay Oaks community
