A Tradition of Care
Community Memorial Healthcare first opened its doors to patients in March of 1958 Known as Community Memorial Hospital the facility was organized as a private notforprofit corporation and became a reality through contributions form the people of Marysville and the surrounding area Throughout the years that followed Community Memorial Hospital changed and grew to address the areas health care needs undergoing several expansion and renovation projects In the fall of 1997 the Hospital changed its name to Community Memorial Healthcare Today Community Memorial Healthcare offers a wide rage of services including prevention diagnosis inpatient and out patient treatment rehabilitation transitional care home health wellness and education

Our History
CMH Celebrates 50 Years in 2008

Fifty years is a big milestone Community Memorial Healthcare CMH is toasting to a halfcentury of service as we celebrate the hospitals golden anniversary this year Opening in March of 1958 CMH began its legacy of providing rural health care to the citizens of Marysville and Marshall County Rural hospitals like CMH offer the appeal of being a part of a supportive community and working in close relation to family friends and neighbors Community Memorial Hospital was founded primarily through the vision of community leaders These individuals played a vital role in establishing CMH as a private nonprofit hospital and were firm believers in the value of providing quality health care services to rural Kansans

For the past fifty years the people of this area have trusted CMH with their healthcare needs Developing a healthcare system centered around the needs of our community has been an evolving and ever changing process spanning the past five decades As a private nonprofit hospital we are committed to fulfilling our purpose to serve the healthcare needs of our constituents To this end we ensure that our services are available to anyone facing an urgent or lifethreatening health emergencyregardless of their ability to pay We know that we are vital to the community and were dedicated to providing the care needed at the precise time it is needed
