History
Since the early 1900s when our hospitals founder Dr T P Singletary first treated patients at a building on the corner of Florida and Fourth Street bringing high quality health care to the people of Baton Rouge has been the driving force behind everything we do It continues to be our primary focus today

Because no other hospital offered specialized treatment for burns we developed what is now one of few burn treatment centers in the Southern US
Because every hospital deserves a great medical staff were training current and future healthcare professionals in the latest technology and practices at our Residency programs and our School of Nursing
Going forward we will continue to identify ways in which the health of our community can be improved through education prevention and timely access to quality care
