Banner Baywood Medical Center also offers stateoftheart technology including iCare an extra layer of monitoring in intensivecare units The hospital also has robotic surgery available and has implemented electronicmedical records as well as a computerized system designed to reduce complications during labor and delivery

In the summer 2007 Banner Baywood Medical Center added the John J Rhodes Rehabilitation Center to help patients with conditions such as amputations multiple sclerosis stroke and other illnesses andor injuries enhance their quality of life
