Capio Nightingale Hospital in Radnor Walk Chelsea is a new Adolescent Service based just off the Kings road It offers 31 beds for Adolescents suffering from acute mental illness The unit provides a 7day programme which includes psychological treatments group therapy family support and counselling as well as a comprehensive educational programme The unit has additional facilities on site including a gymnasium educational suite parent sleepover rooms and family therapy rooms

Within the hospital there is a 21bed acuteassessment unit and a 10 bed low secure and intensive care facility

Referrals can be accepted from patients suffering from general psychiatric problems including depression schizophrenia anxiety related problems as well as care for adolescents suffering from an eating disorder

The unit can accept patients from the age of 1218 years old Emergency admissions to the unit are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week

The unit is part of the Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS QNIC
