Description

Vasantha and Geir Bjornholdt established the Tui Medical Centre in April 1990 when they purchased and renovated the 2 properties on the corner of Tui Crescent and Maunu road Initially they operated from the one building renting out the other and employed only one staff member practice nurse Helen Blaxland

Very soon the premises became too small for the rapidly growing practices and the second building was converted to a modern physio practice for Vasantha Over the years they had to add on several more consultingtreatment rooms and staff

The last addition completed in December 2007 was a 100 sq m gym

The result is a spacious modern multidisciplinary medical centre with a good mix of doctors physiotherapists nurses and admin staff

In 2004 Vasantha achieved accreditation for the physiotherapy practice and in 2007 the medical practice achieved Cornerstone accreditation from the NZ Royal College of General practitioners

The whole staff is committed to keeping up the standard of both departments and the accreditation process is ongoing with frequent auditing and reaccreditation This ensures the highest possible standard of care for you the clients
