DrThillai Vallal a leading Cardiologist in Chennai is the founder of Venkataeswara Hospitals He hails from Thirunelveli District Tamil Nadu Having completed the Post GraduationMD Doctor of Medicine General Medicinefrom Madras Medical College under the tutelage of leading physicians such as DrProf KVThiruvengadam MD FRCP and DrProfAM Selvaraj MD FRCP in 1987 he subsequently undertook and completed his Doctorate in Cardiology in Madras Medical College in1992 He is an active member of the Cardiological Society of India Association of Physicians of India Indian Medical Association and European Society of CardiologyDespite his very busy daily schedule he is a senior teaching Faculty at The Tamil Nadu DrMGR Medical University and is the Chairman of Allied Health Sciences which includes 37Allied Medical SpecialtiesHe has been specially invited by The Tamil Nadu DrMGR Medical University to improve the quality of Education for Medical students and junior doctors Due to his initiative a subject has been introduced by the University for teaching young doctors not only on the prevention of Life Style diseases but also the ways and means of communicating this to the general public so as to increase awareness of Disease mechanisms and how to prevent them
