At this hospital treatment of such problem starts from the grass root level ie lifestyle modification Patients are also taught ergonomically correct ways of doing things in the daily life that will improve the situation

Then comes the medicinal part of giving proper medication amp finally rehabilitation Hectic lifestyle busy schedules and need to rush are one of the major factors to cause traffic accidents

Right treatment at the right time ensures a person near normal recovery The hospital is fully equipped to handle trauma and accident case including the psychological support to the victims family

History of Organisation
The idea of starting a hospital of my own struck me when I was working as a lecturer in orthopedics at D Y Patil College I was sitting at my desk going through the rate cards of various suppliers of electric fittings as the major Operation Theatre needed some new fittings amp some old ones had to be replaced This was when I realized my primary job was to operate and to teach students but here I was wielding the pen more than the scalpel Thus the idea of an establishment was born where I could run things my way

With the blessing of the Almighty amp the family elders the idea became a reality on 21st of October 1995 The day was Dhanatrayodashi an auspicious day for Hindus when Mr T K Chaudhari Add Police Commisioner Mumbai inaugurated Dr Taleles Shree Ashirwad Hospital The beginning was humble with 10 beds including 2 special rooms a semispecial room with 2 beds amp General ward with 6 beds Worth boasting was the major Operation Theatre the heart of the hospital and the minor Operation Theatre

The hospital being in the vicinity of the industrial zone many industrial accidents were treated successfully at the hospital amp soon the hospital gained a reputation of Trauma Centre The coming years saw an increase in industrial accident cases as well as road traffic accident cases being referred to the hospital Sensing a need for extra beds a bed was added to Semispecial amp 2 in General ward As the popularity increased a need was felt to expand

Neighbouring premises were bought in the year 1999 and a 2 bed ICU 5 special rooms a 2 beds semispecial room and a Deluxe room was added

In the year 2000 a physiotherapy unit was started with the aim of taking patient rehabilitation a step further A physiotherapist was employed to rehabilitate the patients professionally amp also to treat post operative patients in the wards

Subsequently a septic operation theatre was started especially to treat patients with infected wounds Another bed was added to the semispecial room Currently the hospital has 21 beds including 7 special room 2 semispecial room with 2 beds each ICU with 2 beds a deluxe room general ward with 6 beds amp 3 operation theatres including a major operation theatre a minor operation theatre and a septic operation theatre

The hospital is on panel for many industries and TPA The hospital has acquired an ambulance and also has acquired permission to construct a lift

During all these years of progress the ultimate goal of quality patient care amp patient satisfaction has never been out of sight
