Dr Hiren Bhatt did his graduation and postgraduation in Plastic Surgery from the Government Medical College Baroda He then went on to specialise in Craniofacial and Cosmetic Surgery in the USA training under renowned cosmetic surgeons Dr Ian T Jackson and Dr SP Arumugam He returned to the city and established Nishtha Hospital a fully equipped Cosmetic Surgery Center with a state of the art Operating Theatre and Monitoring Equipment offering patients a computerised preview of how heshe would look after the procedure There is a Deluxe Recovery Room as well as Private Rooms for hospitalisation However most procedures require single day hospitalisation only

Dr Hiren Bhatt is also closely involved with the KG Patel Childrens Hospitals project with Smile Train Inc New York USA to rectify Cleft Lip and Palette defects in children He has done more than 2000 cleft lip and palate surgeries
