The organization started functioning on 23rd of August 1987 at a small town of nearly 50000 populations at Upleta The organization at that time had premising admeasuring 1000 Sq ft only and instruments costing to Rs one Lakh only Within six months due to expansion in services another 400 Sq ft area was added to the premisesAt the end of the first year nearly Rs 4 Lakhs were invested in instrumentation
Since 1989 the organization has started outdoor cataract surgery
In 1991 the organization expanded the area of hospital to the tune of 3400 Sq Ft and started Redial Keratotomy in 1992 ie first in entire saurashtra amp kutch zone
In 1994 the organization then again shifted to new modern premises within the accommodation of nearly 4000 Sq ft
In 1996 the organization started Phaco Cataract surgery The organization is among the pioneer in this kind of surgery The organization than got converted in to Pvt Ltd Co
In 1997 the organization purchased Excimer Laser equipment which was the first FDA approved equipment in entire Gujarat state The organization has invested more than Rs 15 crores in various instrumentations until now
The organization then found worth while to shift to a bigger place and hence acquired premises and shifted to Rajkot city in the month of Sept 1999 under the banner of Netradeep Eye Hospital Pvt Ltd a comprehensive eye care center under the able chairmanship of Dr V V Sapovadia M S ophth
Our organization got ISO 9001 2000 certification in 2004 and this was the only eye hospital of this kind in Gujarat at that time
