MPUH is one of its kind in Asia the first hospital in the country devoted entirely to Nephrology and Urology and awarded with the ISO9001 2008 Certificate certifying our quality management system for design development and delivery of clinical services for Urology amp Nephrology including Kidney Transplantation to global standards

We were able to meet the high cost of ultramodern equipment and other infrastructure thanks to philanthropic gestures from society and the Trustees of the hospital Besides investment in modern technology the donations so received are also used towards rendering services to those patients who cannot afford the cost of treatment The cost of free treatment we have rendered so far exceeds Rs10 crores

Keeping the above in mind it is our endeavour to provide the best possible medical care in our chosen field at affordable price We started our journey in 1978 by imparting Health Services Over the years we have added Research amp Development and Post Graduate Education in the field of Urology amp Nephrology including Kidney Transplantation The Jayaramdas Patel Academic Centre JPAC is considered comparable to the best such facility in the world

The hospital has the infrastructure to support 140 beds divided into the categories of general ward semispecial rooms special rooms and a VIP suite These are wellventilated with proper sanitation facilities and welltrained support staff There are six Operation Theatres including two separate theatres for renal transplants These theatres are fully equipped for open endoscopic and roboticassisted procedures

There are recovery and postoperative rooms fully equipped with monitoring devices for critical care There is a medical intensive care especially for cardiorespiratory supportive equipment facility for peritoneal dialysis and central monitoring supported by a dedicated and trained staff
