J P Eye Hospital a premier high technology eye institute was established at Mohali a satellite town of Chandigarh the city beautiful world over in year 1995 The hospital is being run under the guidance of Dr Jatinder Singh a renowned ophthalmologist who has the experience of 26 years as an ophthalmic surgeon The hospital pride itself on its founder that the first IOL implantation surgery of this region was performed by him in year 1983 He has the rare distinction of conducting more than 30000 successful cataract operations that includes more than 18000 intraocular lens implantation surgeries

Since its inception in 1995 J P Eye Hospital has nurtured an acclaimed faculty It is consistently upgrading itself in order to provide most advanced precise comprehensive and affordable eye care service to the people of this region The hospital has the provision of a state of art facilities and high tech world class infrastructure beside the assistance of an efficient and sincere staff which guides the patients to understand the various aspects of the disease thereby promoting confidence of hospital services among them

This Society takes care of the charitable services of the JP Eye Hospital More than 300 free eye operation camps for the needy people across Pb Hry HP Uttranchal Pradesh Madhya Pradesh and Chandigarh has been organized till now
