History

Burdwan Diagnostic amp Research Centre Private Ltd was established in the year 1996 with the help of few businessmen and Medical Professional to establish a Hospital in Burdwan It is situated on the NH2 G T Road at Bamchandaipur Burdwan

Dr Kushanava Pabi who had a dream of building up a multispeciality hospital where in he could serve the community under one roof was on the look out for such a place His vision was to provide treatment to patients suffering from Cardiological and Neurological problems in Burdwan This would alleviate the pain of hundreds of suffering people who would otherwise had to travel hundreds and thousands of miles away viz Kolkata and South India for getting these services

He took over the BDRC P Ltd in the year of 2000 and renamed it to CHITTARANJAN ADVANCED MEDICAL REFERRAL INSTITUTE After necessary renovation and modification the Unit was successfully commissioned in the year of year of 2001

The hospital was started with 35 beds initially and then expanded to 60 beds in the span of 4 years Now it is in the phase of further expansion to 100 beds
