In partnership with the John Noble Home St Josephs Lifecare Centre has created a beautiful homelike environment in our renovated facility Innovative programming strengthens our vision of care that will lead us into the future

HOPE Hospice will be there when your family is in need
The new 7000 square foot Hospice brings a muchneeded component of health care to our community Here individuals of all ages living with a terminal illness receive compassionate support for their physical emotional and spiritual needs whether through a day program or our overnight residential care The Hospice provides support and care for the terminally ill and the friends and loved ones who surround them

EDUCATION Bringing the benefits of research directly to Brant County
In partnership with McMaster University and St Josephs Healthcare Hamilton the new Research and Academics Centre creates an environment for learning and applying knowledge for people here at home Physicians and health care offices add to this atmosphere A child day care centre offers intergenerational programming opportunities combining seniors with children Our ultimate goal is to provide a whole host of programs and services to bring life to the Centre to avoid feelings of loneliness or isolation for our seniors who will call St Joes home

St Josephs Hospital opened its doors in 1955 True to their commitment of providing quality compassionate care many health care professionals volunteers and community leaders shaped the legacy of St Josephs of the past which continues in St Josephs Lifecare Centre

Challenge Brings Change
As a result of provincial hospital restructuring the closure of St Josephs Hospital in March 2001 meant the transfer of its programs and services to area hospitals Through the creation of the St Josephs Lifecare Centre Brantford St Joes responded creatively and vigorously to the longterm care needs of Brantford and Brant County The Stedman Community Hospice for the terminally ill offers another dimension of care for those in need
