The affiliated university hospital centre AHC HocirctelDieu de Leacutevis undertakes missions in health care education research and evaluation of health care technologies

The HocirctelDieu de Leacutevis AHC aims to offer complete health care diagnostic and therapeutic services supported by information technologies adapted to the needs of the user and of the clinician alike It also aims to offer the best quality in terms of health care and services according to the highest national standards the AIM standards of the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation

The hospital centre acts as a referral hospital providing complete general and specialized health care in hospitalization as well as in ambulatory modes to users from the ChaudiegravereAppalaches region Certain specialties are made available to users from other regions of Eastern Quebec

The hospital centre is a member of the Local Integrated Health and Social Service Network of the Grand Littoral and takes part by means of an agreement in the activities of the other local networks of the ChaudiegravereAppalaches region It is also a member of the Reacuteseau universitaire inteacutegreacute en santeacute de lUniversiteacute Laval RUISUL and plays an active role in the planning and management of specialized services of that network To that extent the hospital assumes an academic mission and is involved in educational and research activities in the field of health and social services
