Grande Cache Hospital Auxiliary volunteers actively support their local hospital and Continuing Care Centre

Brightening the hospital and Continuing Care Centre with seasonal decorations and events are ongoing projects for the Auxiliarys approximately 18 core members For special events like Valentines Day Easter or Christmas volunteers provide homemade crafts as small gifts for residents The Auxiliary also runs an annual Hospital Appreciation Day inviting community members to tour the centre and stay for coffee and cake

Raffle tickets for items donated by businesses and local craftsman always sell well and a new Auxiliary cookbook has been a very hot item avaialble at a number of local stores Many volunteers prepare all year long for hte larger bazaar and craft sales near Christmas Handmade items are also sold out of a showcase cabinet at the hosital and a number of volunteers keep it well supplied with knitted slippers baby clothes comforters quilts and other items

An infusion pump is the most recent piece of medical equipment the Auxiliary has purchased for the Grande Cache General Hospital

Direct donations are accepted and can be made through any Auxiliary member dropped off at the Hospital or mailed to the Auxiliary
