Waverley Private Hospital is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Health Care Standards ACHS a nationally accredited body that ensures we provide high standards of care and service

Around 240 staff and over 250 accredited Medical Practitioners provide care and attention for patients

The hospital is a 75 bed facility providing medical surgical and maternity care It is owned and operated by one of Australias preeminent private hospital operators Ramsay Health Care

Featuring a range of shared and private rooms and five operating theatres two downstairs and three upstairs in a dedicated Day Procedure Unit All of our private and shared rooms have their own ensuites personal bedside television and telephone

1972 Hospital opened with 47 beds on the 7th

1976 Additional wing opened with a further 38
beds

1982 New Radiology and Pathology

1984 1st Surgical and Medical hospital to be
accredited

1991 Day Procedure Unit built and opened

1995 Renovations and additions to the Surgical
Unit

2007 28000th baby born

2007 First hospital in suburban Melbourne to
operate a Parenting Program Parenting program
commenced at Novotel Glen Waverley

2008 500th mum and baby stay at Novotel Glen
