A Brief History of Toowong Private Hospital
Toowong Private Hospital was built in early 1975 by NA Kratzmann amp Sons Pty Ltd and opened as quotToowong Clinicquot by the then Health Minister Dr Llew Edwards on the 10th of May 1976 Dr Edwards officially opened the hospital with the theme of quotimprovements of psychiatric conditions and services in Queenslandquot

Since that time Toowong Private Hospital has continued to grow and evolve in mental health care service provision including the continued Accreditation by the Australian Council of Health Care Standards since 1997
