QEH moved premises in May 2004 to accomodate growing patient numbers The new premises located at Little Edward Street Spring Hill Brisbane contain a modern and spacious reception 4 fully equipped operating theatres 6 anaesthetic bays onsite sterilisation unit consultation and outpatient rooms a 12 bed firststage recovery unit a 22 recliner chair secondstage recovery unit postoperative paediatric corner and onsite pathology and laser services The hospital utilises the latest stateoftheart equipment that fully complies with Australian and international healthcare standards

Queensland Eye Hospital Pty Ltd was formed as the Queensland Eye Centre Pty Ltd

Licensed by Queensland Health as a Day Hospital for Ophthalmic Procedures
