Mildura Private Hospital is a not for profit 54 bed acute medical surgical and day procedure hospital built on a single level surrounded by one hectare of landscaped gardens and peaceful attractive courtyards

The inpatient ward Banksia ward has a total 29 beds incorporating a 2 bed High Dependency Unit and one palliative care room with adjoining family room facilities


Patient accommodation comprises both single and shared rooms that are modern and well equipped with ensuite bathroom and toilet facilities direct dial STD telephone and remote controlled TV with cable included

A purpose built Day Procedure Unit has significantly increased the hospitals capacity by freeing up beds for inpatient admissions The unit has greatly improved comfort and convenience for day patients

Perioperative Services includes a three theatre Operating Suite adjoining the purpose built Day Procedure Unit with the two being built to provide a flow through effect Incorporated into the Day Procedure Unit is a Chemotherapy Lounge with 6 chairs and one bed

Mildura Private Hospital provides a Sleep Study services to the Sunraysia and surrounding areas Mildura Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialty services

The hospital has dedicated long term local staff with six of our staff members employed since
the opening of the hospital in 1985 Fortytwo percent of our permanent staff have been with us for over ten years Our General Manager Trudie Chant and Director of Nursing Karen Woolfe were both employed as clinical nurses and now have thirty years experience at our hospital collectively We are proud of our staffs longevity and the ability to offer consistency to our community

Mildura Private Hospital was established in 1985 to provide local access to private hospital services for members of the Sunraysia and surrounding communities

The Hospital was purchased by the current owners The Mildura District Hospital Fund in 1997 who along with the Management and staff of the hospital place a strong emphasis on providing high quality safe healthcare at all levels while at the same time fostering a relaxed friendly home like environment
