Frances Perry House is a fully accredited obstetric and surgical hospital situated close to the Melbourne CBD The Hospital has 88 beds including a 14 cot Level 2 special care nursery We have 7 birthing suites ante and post natal units Parenting Program at the Sofitel 3 operating theatres a urodynamics procedure room 13 day surgery beds and a surgical ward

Frances Perry House History
Frances Perry was the wife of the first Anglican Bishop of Melbourne From 1856 to 1876 Mrs Perry was the President of the Royal Womens Hospital Frances Perry House first opened in 1970 as the Private Wing of the Royal Womens Hospital In 1997 Health Care of Australia was awarded the tender to redevelop lease and operate Frances Perry House as an independent private hospital colocated with the Royal Womens Hospital In 2005 Frances Perry House became part of Ramsay Health Care family
