Cotham Private is a 61bed hospital with three operating suites one endoscopy suite and a dedicated lithotripsy suite the only one of its kind at a private hospital Our friendly and highly trained staff and specialists foster a dynamic teambased environment which is reflected in the best clinical care and warm caring environment

We have fully equipped operating theatre suites a high dependency unit and a day surgery unit Our hospital offers both private and sharedroom accommodation Most rooms have an ensuite and all beds are equipped with a private telephone and television A lounge area is situated on the first floor of the hospital providing an ideal place for your visiting family and friends

Cotham Private Hospital staff are especially proud of our Lithotripsy Suite Lithotripsy or commonly known as ESWL is the treatment of kidney stones Cotham Private Hospital is the only Private Hospital to have a dedicated Lithotripsy Unit During treatment between 1500 and 3000 shockwaves pass safely through body tissue to focus on the renal stone which is disintegrated into sand like particles
