A Catholic hospital St James Healthcare is now one of Montanas largest comprehensive hospitals serving the health care needs of people in a sevencounty region It remains today a part of the Montana Region of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System affiliating it with two other leaders in Montana St Vincent Healthcare in Billings and Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City

St James offers the people of Montana specialized services in Cardiology Oncology Orthopedics Neurosciences and Womens amp Childrens services It is a 100bed facility staffed by more than 500 employees all dedicated to the integration of tradition and technology

Our History
The Sisters of Charity trace their origin as a religious community to the 1600s in France where Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac established the Daughters of Charity The Daughters of Charity were dedicated to serving the sick and poor through an active ministry This heritage and tradition serves as a foundation for our health ministry today
