SAMC is supported by a medical staff of more than 250 physicians representing virtually every medical specialty In addition SAMC boasts more than 2400 highlyqualified employees providing the latest diagnostic clinical surgical and patient care services available in the tristates area

Since opening its doors in 1957 Southeast Alabama Medical Center has through advanced treatment and technology provided for the changing healthcare needs of the growing communities it serves Serving about 600000 residents in the neighboring communities and counties of Southeast Alabama Southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle its progress represents the culmination of distinguished service by dedicated board members physicians employees volunteers and a supportive community
