Harper County Community Hospital is an acutecare county hospital whose mission is to provide all of Harper County portions of Woodward County and parts of Southwest Kansas with the most advanced appropriate primary and limited secondary health care at the lowest possible competitive cost

History

History
Harper County Community Hospital was established in 1963 as a result of the combined efforts of Dr Frank Hudson and a group of highly committed investors

The initial hospital consisted of 8 rooms Later the south wing addition was constructed with the result still visible in the facility In 1978 the ER dietary laboratory wing was constructed and is still in use today
