Rajah Islands consists of three Islands on the backwaters of Kerala The main Island has an area of 14 acres and has the main building with suite deluxe rooms double rooms and a multi cuisine restaurant Cottages for stay and treatment rooms for Ayurveda treatments overlook the waters Another building on the main Island houses the doctors consultancy rooms pharmacy and a conference hall Apart from these a building for prayers paved walkways childrens play area and boat landings are also available on the main Island

The second Island is connected to the main Island by a bridge over which people can walk House boats are docked at this Island and a small treatment cottage is also available here The Island has an area of five acres

The pleasant and calm atmosphere with waters and excellent natural beauty surrounding the Islands relaxes one physically and mentally thus tuning him or her to respond well to Ayurveda related treatments

The third Island is slightly away from the two above mentioned Islands and is about 30 acres in area The Island is currently left in its natural form and is not being used for any sort of services or cultivation

There is vehicle parking space on the landing area on the national highway A reception in this area has a boat jetty You will be taken to the Island by boat from here The reception stocks snacks soft drinks and has coffee and tea vending machines There is also a medicine selling counter at the reception The medicinal products sold at the counter are all manufactured by Rajah Healthy Acres another unit of Rajah Ayurvedic hospitals A big boat is being converted to a restaurant in this area close to the highway The Islands are close to the landing area and it takes less than five minutes to get to the Islands from there

The National highway connects some main cities of Kerala Some travelers on this highway and pilgrims and tourists visiting Guruvayoor a temple town close by stops at the landing area for a boat ride in the backwaters
