An NABH accredited institution Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre Jaipur BMCHRC came into existence in the year 1997 as a cancer specialty hospital offering cancer prevention treatment education and research with just 50 beds at an initial stage Eighteen years later it grew into a superspecialty 200beded hospital with leading edge infrastructure housing several wards laboratories utility services and specialties Organ specific departments at BMCHRC include Surgical Oncology Medical Oncology Radiation Oncology Radiology Pathology and Blood Bank A separate sevenstoried IPD block is a recent addition in the better interest of patient care

BMCHRC was established with the mission to provide most advanced medical services to Cancer Patients in an environment that primarily focuses on humanity compassion and concern The hospital aims to serve patients not only within Rajasthan but also from neighboring states who earlier had no alternative other than to go to metro cities With this approach BMCHRC effectually eradicated numerous hassles faced by the patients including heavy financial burden due to high cost of accommodation in far off cities Besides BMCHRC under its objective of lending a hand to the underprivileged not only treat patients under BPL category for free up to the extent of 25 but also offer subsidized cost of treatment for the patients belonging to the weaker strata

Mr Navrattan Kothari Chairman of BMCHRC has been managing the hospital for over 18 years and under his guidance the institution has achieved numerous milestones and has grown manifolds His spirit of imparting knowledge to the next generation has been inspirational and motivating to move the hospital ahead Younger son of Mr Navrattan Kothari Mr Sandeep Kothari is carrying on the legacy led by his father and managing the hospital as Vice Chairman with interest and enthusiasm
