MATC falls under the jurisdiction of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister of Health

MATC is organized and structured around the following

program management model
client centred philosophy with a strong commitment to consumer participation in treatment planning and decision making
integrated continuum of services
multidisciplinary team approach

MATC believes in the following principles and uses them to guide program planning and decision making

a continuum of services
services are available accessible appropriate and flexible
resource allocation is flexible and responds to client need
identification and intervention occurs as early as possible to ensure healthy development and lessen the need for more intensive interventions

Who do we serve

MATC provides mental health services to children and youth with psychiatric andor emotional disorders A full continuum of programs and services both community and hospital based are available to residents of Manitoba Nunavut

What services do we provide

Services range from brief interventions to intensive long term treatment
Treatment is provided from a variety of perspectives and is delivered in partnership with parents and collateral agencies

Followup monitoring and transfer to other services are essential components of service provision Depending upon the level of treatment required by the clientfamily services may be accessed through different programs

Services in other languages may be available based on availability through various interpretive services
